Hidden Gem Bar
Man Wah Sun Chuen is a residential complex located in the Jordan area of Kowloon, Hong Kong. Developed by Carnival Investments, it was constructed between 1964 and 1970. The complex comprises eight buildings, each named with the prefix "Man",
These buildings are collectively referred to as the "Eight Man Buildings" (八文樓). Their distinctive sloped roofs were designed in accordance with the "Street Shadow Ordinance" from the colonial era, which mandated specific angular constructions to ensure adequate sunlight and ventilation at street level. This architectural feature has made the complex a unique landmark in Hong Kong.
Within Man Wah Sun Chuen, the Hand Shaken Cocktail Bar is a hidden cocktail bar offering patrons a unique and secluded drinking experience.
